Creating the Magazine on In-design Process for the Final Design of myFront Cover

The following screenshots will be showing the construction of the Front Cover i created on In design and the step by step procedures i used to produce the final result. Each part will be briefly described and the methods will be clearly shown for each part of the magazine front cover.

THE MEASUREMENTS OF MY MAGAZINE.
STEP 1:The first step of the process on In design is to insert the pages/page that you need and if you do make your own measurements to adjust the page sizes. To apply the measurements you need to write them within the description boxes below and then proceed onto the programme with the page you need to start.
The sizes of the page is also accounted whether A4 to what ever size you want, with the orientation which too can be chosen either portrait or landscape. Lastly, the columns can be re tuned to the numbers you need as the margins you want to be presented on the document can also be created.

STEP 2: When that information is confirmed the document/page will then appear on the programme to begin with the construction in this case a magazine front cover. The magazine will be produced with this document provided with the adjusted measurements shown above. Once the document is ready, the first action i proceeded to do was to place the image i wanted for my front cover onto the document, which has already been modified on Photoshop.
STEP 3: As you can see, i placed the image in the centre of the document i had to get the correct section of the image in the exact proportion. I had to get the exact position of the image as my Masthead would be placed at the top of the artists head which would be slightly covered. Furthermore, the angle of the image which is placed more towards the right also allowed more space formy cover lines to be in symmetrical spots.
STEP 4: Through the process of placing images onto the document, i then immediately deposited the barcode which i created on Barcode generator. At the same time i enhanced the size of the barcode to fit the page and removed the parts i didn't need placed on the front cover.
STEP 5: Following that i proceeded onto the price and the lettering placed near my barcode that i made white as the leather jacket is black and therefore wouldn't be seen. The writing near the barcode is the price of the magazine which is £2.99 as my survey results show that most people would pay a music magazine at this reasonable price. As you see, near that I wrote the artists name who is captured on the front cover whilst, adding the magazine name and the photographer beside it, I got this idea from a magazine I saw and immediately thought that it would be a good aspect to place within the front cover of my magazine.

STEP 6: The next step, I added the selling line which was firstly supposed to be placed above of the masthead however, the space on top of the masthead wasn't enough and would just make the sentence way to small to see and not clear for the readers. Therefore, I placed the selling line right above the price of the magazine. Using a stroke to apply to the selling line which is "The Ultimate Pop-Rock magazine" made the sentence more visible and bold to read from the black only the selling line would be covered from being onto of a black background. I went against the codes and conventions I've seen on other music magazines as the space above my masthead wouldn't allow the sentence to fix and in my opinion i found that the selling line draws your attention whilst, being near the price to asure the target audience can see it. In my research the selling line wasn't included in the magazine which i took inspiration from however, i wanted to make the magazine should that it would be a "Diverse" variation of Pop-Rock music which also includes,Pop,Rock,Indie etc.
